The garden equipment manufacturer and cordless tool specialist STIHL Tirol is paying its employees a tax-free corona bonus of 250 euros. Despite the difficult conditions during the corona pandemic, STIHL Tirol has been able to master the challenges posed so far and this is partially thanks to the strong performance demonstrated by its employees. This is now being rewarded with an additional special payment. "Without the great commitment of our staff, we would not have been able to overcome the past few months so well. The corona bonus is a token of our appreciation for the extraordinary commitment and additional efforts our employees have demonstrated during these difficult times", says STIHL Tirol Managing Director Clemens Schaller.
The strict hygiene measures and other protective regulations in place at STIHL Tirol have proven to be very effective to this point and this has enabled the company to maintain operations while providing the best possible protection against infection. The "Kurzarbeit" part-time scheme was and remains a nonissue at STIHL Tirol.
Since many people have been spending more time at home due to contact and travel restrictions, more has been invested in private gardens. As a result, the demand for cordless products and gardening tools made in Tyrol has continued to rise in recent months and the company has continued to grow.
