Scarifiers remove moss, lawn thatch and weeds, as well as ensuring good aeration of the soil. Water, air and nutrients can again reach the roots more easily, the lawn becomes more resilient and visually more attractive.
Each year, some 3,000 entries from approx. 40 countries are submitted to the Good Design Award, from which a panel of judges comprising around 70 recognised design experts select the winner during a standardised process over several stages.
